It is approx. 1 serving. You can always double or triple the ingredients for a bigger serving or for more people.

Nutritional Benefits

Apples = Contain flavonoids and polyphenols, malic acid and phytonutrients. Flavonoids and polyphenols are huge antioxidants that boost our body’s natural detoxification process. Malic acid is an organic carboxylic diacid compound (my Dad’s an Organic Chemist, he would be proud!) that assists the liver and refines digestion. Phytonutrients are plant-derived nutrients that help breakdown low density lipoproteins (LDL), a.k.a. bad cholesterol and keep plaque from building in your arteries. Your arteries stay free and clear and heart disease is prevented.

Ginger = Anti-inflammatory, soothes the stomach, aids in digestion, and relieves muscle pain, as well as supports electrolyte function and is great for motion sickness

Carrots & Oranges = Vitamin C. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that protects against infections and free radical damage to your eyes, it boosts immunity (have you ever taken Emergen-C?), dilates your blood vessels properly, which prevents hypertension and aids in healing and repairing tissue. Go, C!
