Chocolate for breakfast? Oh, yes. And the crazy part…I always feel great after I eat a bowl of oatmeal with dark chocolate.
Dark Chocolate Chia Oatmeal
1 cup full fat, pastured milk or almond milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup Bob’s Red Mill rolled oats (not the quick cooking kind)
- Pinch of sea salt
- 2 Tbs. Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Almond Butter
- 1-2 tsp. Chia seeds
- Raw honey
Make oatmeal according to directions, but instead of using water, use half water, half almond milk. Bring to a boil, then add your oats for the time suggested. Once your oatmeal is cooked, serve into bowls and top with Dark Chocolate Cinnamon Almond Butter & chia seeds. Drizzle with raw honey to taste and add a bit more almond milk if needed. That’s it! I love dark chocolate in my oatmeal and if you’ve never tried it and like dark chocolate, I highly recommend it. Enjoy!
