2000

I didn’t even think I would make it to 1,000. I dreamt it, but I also doubted it. And yet, I pushed on anyway. Because I knew that I knew that this was what I was supposed to do for this time in my life. I knew the vision for this site was given to me as a gift and if I tucked it away, I would be doing a disservice to the Gifter. So, I launched Freshly Grown, not knowing at all what I was doing, but believing I could do it anyway. And we all have that something we are supposed to do in this world. It looks different for all of us. But, don’t let the odds or that voice in your head stop you from doing it. Do it anyway. Believe anyway. Press on anyway. Even if you think you have no idea what you are doing and only have a shred of faith, a shred is enough. Go! Make your mark on the world, whatever it is, and change it for the better! We all need you.

If you have followed this blog, thank you. If you have liked the Freshly Grown FB page, thank you. I put as much heart and soul in this space as I have time for given my insane schedule (work, school, mama, blog), and I just want to thank you for journeying with me. Today marks a special day in the wee life of Freshly Grown (launched last Aug.). Our Facebook page has hit 2,000 and I am over the moon. You know when you have a dream or something to say or write and think, ‘If I can impact just one person, then it’s all worth it?’ I said that to myself over and over again. So, to reach 2,000…is huge! Massive to me. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and I just wanna’ say…thanks. You all inspire me to keep going and remind me that cancer has truly been my greatest gift and that I will always want to pay it forward as long as I can.

Cheers!
